The 4 latest and greatest guilty pleasures of 2015

It’s safe to say there are a lot of things we love and hate - we pretend there is no in between. But there is. Most of the things we declare we don't like are secretly what we enjoy, but don't want to admit to people. We all have our guilty pleasures. Yours might be watching MIC religiously every Monday, but pretending you hate it to your pals. It could be eating pickles out of the jar, listening to Taylor Swift to feel sassy after a break up ('weeeee are never ever ever, getting back together’) even though you claim she annoys the hell out of you. You get the point. So, I have decided to write about four guilty pleasures that keep on cropping up; the ones that seem to be the most relatable and heavily discussed right now. I wanted to shed some light on those things we love to hate and hate to love, to prove that when it comes down to it, we all love the same things that we try so hard to keep behind closed doors.

Let's tallk about fashion

Recently, I stumbled across a tall dress from ASOS which pushed me to write this post. Like every girl with an ASOS account, I was tempted by the sale email I received on my phone and decided it was time to have a browse (after all, pay day had just blessed my bank account). In nearly every clothing shop, the items I try on hang closer to my waist than my legs. Even though ASOS is online, I am familiar with their length-less clothing, but they do sell some wonderful pieces. Anyways, being 5'11, it is always a joy to see the 'tall section' logo pop up.

Turn on the TV, open your mind: BBC's 'The Go-Between'

Last week, I was having the usual cosy Sunday night in wrapped in my dressing gown, scanning through my sky planner for something to watch. I then remembered the new BBC adaptation of L.P Hartley's 'The Go Between' was on in an hour. So, of course I did what we all do when we find a program we actually want to pay attention to - I excitedly got myself a cuppa and snuggled up on the sofa impatiently waiting for it to begin.

Glowing skin for glowing prices: Three affordable skin care buys

This week I thought I would do a post on three fab skin care products: Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Makeup remover, B. Ready Day Cream and Vaseline Spray & Go body moisturiser. I swear by these products to keep my skin looking healthy and fresh and what makes them even more appealing is their low price tags, as we all know how expensive a skin-care regime can be!
